The Art of Letting Go

This poem was originally written by Eca. I invited her to write for Noble Vengeance and gladly, she accepted it and now it's her first entry.



We often fool ourselves and say its love,
We end up being lonely when it's gone,
So how are we to know
That we have to let each other go

Why do we have to part why joy is still there?
Why do we still have to suffer?
Why do we have to cry when somebody bids goodbye?

Gentle raindrops falling on my face
Sadness came rousing my spirit
Why did we have to meet?
Only to part ways in the end.

There are questions left unanswered
Love still left unexpressed.
Truly in a relationship the hardest thing to do
Is saying goodbye and letting go.
